I used to say I was a self taught artist, but now that I think about it, I've had help and guidance all my life. I started doing art work before the first grade. I would see these ads on draw Bambi, or draw the pirate, and started drawing them, not realizing I was coping someone else are Then in the fifth grade, I had this math teacher that taught me perspective drawing if I did well on a math test, needless to say I aced my tests. I took 5 years of drafting in high school, plus all psychedelic stuff I would do to empress my friends. The kind of things you would see on posters. , again coping others art. Then I saw some of Big Daddy Roth's art work, with the killer cars with huge motors. I went through that phase. Of course I've done my share of beautiful women, clothed and other wise. I see a style I like, and I work on it until I get it right. At least to my satisfaction that is. I'm my own worst critic, if I'm not satisfied, it does not get out to the public. Most of the pen and ink you see in my gallery are done in pointillism (nothing but dots). I've just taken it a step further with different colors, and layer upon layer. These drawings take me months to do, some as long as 4 months, with multiple colors to get the realism look that I'm striving for. When it’s finished it’s a piece of art that I'm proud to put my name on. The last couple of years I've been working with acrylic paints I really like the quick drying time and colors I get out of them. I'm still learning off other artist I talk to, or seeing some of their work. I work off of photographs and draw or paint what I see. So in a way I'm learning off the photographer, too.
I hope you enjoy my art work.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is,"My Mistress" . I've since covered up the police sign, to many negative remarks, plus a highway patrol told me to.
